The Magnus Archives is a multi-award-winning horror fiction podcast that ran for 5 seasons between 2016-2021 examining what lurks in the archives of The Magnus Institute, an organisation dedicated to researching the esoteric and the weird. The new Head Archivist, Jonathan Sims, attempts to bring a seemingly neglected collection of supernatural statements up to date, converting them to audio and supplementing them with follow-up work from his small but dedicated team.
Individually, these stories are unsettling. Together they begin to form a picture that is truly horrifying because as he looks into the depths of the archives, something starts to look back…

The Magnus Institute was an organisation dedicated to academic research into the esoteric and the paranormal, based out of Manchester, England. It burned to the ground in 1999. There were no survivors. Now, almost 25 years later, Alice and Sam, a pair of low-level civil service workers at the underfunded Office of Incident Assessment and Response, have stumbled across its legacy. A legacy that will put them in grave danger.
Following on from the success and world of The Magnus Archives, this three-season Horror fiction podcast is currently in production.
